While conditions for teens have improved in Texas, teens statewide are significantly more likely to have sex, drink alcohol, drive drunk, or ride with a drunk driver than teens in other states, according to data compiled in The State of Texas Children 2006. The report, released today by the Austin-based Center for Public Policy Priorities (CPPP), examines the status of children across all of Texas’ 254 counties.
